A finished garage door in Oakville
Oakville · Burlington · Mississauga

A real installed price, before anyone rings you.

Build the door you want and see what it costs fitted, with the old one taken away. No form, no "call for pricing", no salesman in your driveway on a Tuesday evening.

Build a door

Four choices. One honest number.

Installed, old door removed and recycled, spring and track included. The only thing that moves this number afterwards is an opening that is not standard — and we measure before we order, not after.

If there is a bedroom over the garage, R-16 pays for itself. If the garage is detached and unheated, insulation is mostly noise reduction — worth knowing before you buy it.

Service call

Most doors do not need replacing.

Two thirds of the calls we get are a spring, a roller or an opener sensor. Those are a morning's work, not a new door.

Broken spring
$260–$390 the pair. Always replaced in pairs — fitting one new spring against a tired one just brings us back in six months. Do not attempt this yourself; they hold enough energy to break an arm.
Cable off the drum
$180–$280. Usually a sign the door is out of balance, so we will check that too rather than just re-seat it.
Rollers & hinges
$220–$340 for a full set. The single biggest difference to how loud your door is, and the cheapest.
Opener will not close
$140–$210. Nine times in ten it is the safety sensors knocked out of alignment — often by a bike. Frequently we fix it and charge the call-out only.
Panel replacement
$390–$740 per panel. Worth it on a door under ten years old; on an older one the colour will not match and we will tell you so before you spend it.
Annual tune-up
$120. Balance, lubricate, tighten, test the auto-reverse. Genuinely optional — but if your door is the loudest thing on the street, this is why.
Straight answers

Where we will talk you out of it.

Full-view glass on a north wall

They look superb in a brochure and they are cold, heavy on the opener, and awkward to keep clean. On a north-facing detached garage we will steer you elsewhere.

Insulating a detached garage

If it is unheated, R-16 buys you quiet, not warmth. Worth paying for if you use it as a workshop; not worth it if you park in it.

A new door for a spring

A broken spring on an eight-year-old door is a $320 repair. Anybody quoting you a replacement door off a photograph of a snapped spring is not fixing your problem.
